Maintenance Services and Emergency Procedures - Winter Weather
Due to the forecasted major weather event, we want to share important information about maintenance services and emergency procedures to help keep everyone safe.
Maintenance Services
- During severe weather, routine and non-emergency maintenance requests may be delayed.
- Maintenance staff will respond only to emergency work orders during the event. Emergencies include:
- Loss of heat or water
- Flooding or major water leaks
- Fire, gas odors, or smoke
- Conditions that pose an immediate health or safety risk
- Power outages (please contact your local electricity provider)
- Please report emergencies through the usual emergency maintenance line as soon as possible. (See maintenance staff contact information posted on the door of your community)
After the Weather Event
- Once conditions are safe, maintenance staff will resume normal operations and address delayed work orders in the order received.
- Please report any weather-related damage to your unit or common areas promptly.
Resident Safety Reminders
- Stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather.
- Keep emergency supplies on hand, including flashlights, batteries, medications, and bottled water.
- Follow guidance from local emergency management officials.
If you have an urgent maintenance emergency during the storm, please contact the emergency maintenance line. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately.
