Dear Community Partners:

On behalf of the children and families we all serve, the CADA Board and staff invite you to join us in sponsoring our Annual CADA Head Start/Early Head Start Family Resources Fair on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the Northampton County NC Recreation Department & Culture Wellness Center, located at 9536 NC-305 Jackson, NC 27845.

For twenty-five years, prior to the COVID Pandemic, CADA had sponsored the Annual Family Resource Fair in November on the Thursday before Thanksgiving each year. The event focused on Head Start/Early Head Start families as well as other families in the community who may benefit from the diverse services that CADA and other community agencies provide. CADA is excited for the opportunity to sponsor the event this year! Community partners will join us at the fair to offer direct services and resources to families and to the community. Our goal is to improve the capacity of Head Start/Early Head Start families as well as other families in our communities to achieve a level of independence and self-sufficiency. It is with your assistance and support that this goal can be accomplished again this year.

A tentative agenda for the Family Resources Fair is enclosed for your review. We have chosen the theme for the fair- "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child"- a storybook concept which still remains well suited to the CADA Head Start/Early Head Start's mission.
