Sealed proposals will be received by the Roanoke-Regional Housing Authority for CAPITAL FUND PROJECT NC 118-50119, NC 118-50120, & NC 118-50121 until 11:00 A.M., FRIDAY, JANUARY 27, 2023, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the Modernization of Projects NC 118-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, and -12. Scope of work will consist of renovations and modernization of the existing project and includes, but is not limited to, the following items:

  1. Remove existing and provide new smoke detectors.
  2. Remove existing and provide new bathroom exhaust fans.
  3. Remove existing and provide new electrical panels.
  4. All other work in Project Manual, on Drawings, and as required by codes.

A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The meeting will be in-person at the Main Roanoke-Chowan Regional Housing Authority Administrative Office Building located at 205 Tinsley Way, Gaston, NC 27832. A site visit will follow.

Site visits before or after the Pre-Bid Meeting date may be coordinated with Mark Vick at 252.537.1051.

All contractors are hereby notified that they must have a proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved.

Contractors will be responsible to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible, follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
